near Toronto's beautiful 400 acre High Park, this elegant and
recently renovated 1912 home is on a quiet, tree-lined residential
street. Furnishings include an eclectic collection of art
and antiques from various countries. To ensure your comfort, our
three spacious bedrooms have new queen size beds, air-conditioning,
color TV and comfortable chairs. Two bedrooms have 4- piece ensuite
bathrooms and the third room has a private bathroom with shower
but no tub. A gourmet home-cooked breakfast is served in our warm
and friendly dining room. We are a five minute walk from the Subway
which will take you to the centre of downtown Toronto in 10 minutes.
Excellent restaurants and interesting shopping areas, such as
Bloor West Village and Roncesvalles Village are within walking
distance from The Red Door Bed & Breakfast.

The
Red Door is a five minute walk from the Keele Subway Station,
giving easy access to the whole city via Toronto's excellent public
transit system. The Subway Train will take you from Keele to the
centre of downtown Toronto in 10 minutes. According to the TTC
brochure, "the Subway operates every few minutes from approximately
6 AM (9 AM Sundays) to 1:30 AM". From our experience there
is a train about every 2 to 3 minutes during the day and every
5 to 6 minutes evenings and Sundays.
Theatre,
Museums, Art Galleries, Sports, Shopping - all big city facilities
and activities are found in Toronto.
