Activities:
Paphos is an ideal location for visiting the Akamas Nature Reserve, a multitude of historical sites, including the World Heritage Tombs of the Kings and other parts of the island and for skiing in the Troodos Mountains in winter (2 hours drive) .
Airports:
The flat is only a 20-minute drive from Paphos airport and there is a direct motorway connection (about 1hr.45 mins.) to Larnaca airport.
Golf:
There is a choice of three golf courses: Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley 18-hole championship golf courses – 20-30 mins.; Tsada, 18-hole – 15 mins. All have club facilities. Par around 71/72.
Fishing:
There are fishing boats to hire from the old harbour, including for deep-sea fishing.
Diving:
There are many dive-schools in Paphos, including at the Paphos Beach Hotel, 10 mins. walk from the flat.
Skiing and snowboarding:
From January to March, on Mount Olympus , only 2 hours drive away.
Tennis:
Only a 5-min walk from the flat to tennis courts.

There are English-language cinemas in the town and concerts are held in front of the mediaeval fort and at the ancient Odeon. Paphos also has a number of fascinating museums.
There are several wineries in the locality that can be visited for free wine-tasting and stocking up on good Cyprus wines for your holiday and to take home.
Many monasteries and churches are accessible from Paphos, as are the Birthplace of Aphrodite, Aphrodite’s Baths, Adonis Falls, reservoirs and mountain forests.
