Rosscarbery is a small picturesque town overlooking the West Cork coastline. The town was built around a monastery. St. Fachtna established the building in the sixth century. It is now a peaceful place with nicely decorated buildings and traditional shops. The town has a good structure as everything is withing walking distance of Rosscarbery making it an ideal tourist centre.
The Warren Beach, Ownahincha Beach and the Long Strand offer bathing with their golden sandy beaches for those wishing to relax. Golfers may improve their skills at the local Driving Range.

Furthermore, there are many places to visit - such a s St. Fachtna's Cathedral, Castlefreke, Coppinger's Court and birthplaces of Gen. Michael Collins and O'Donovan Rossa to mention some of them.
