Cornwall has the best of both worlds, lovely countryside and beautiful coastline. Allens is conveniently located within walking distance from St Austell train/bus station and town center where you will find numerous places to eat.
Activities:
Historic Charlestown is approx 1 mile away with old sailing ships anchored in the dock. Charlestown is a great place to spend the day and has featured in a number of contemporary and period film productions.
The Eden Project is approx 3 miles, always a real experience, imagine walking through a tropical rainforest without leaving Cornwall. The hugh Biomes contain specimens of plants from all over the world, and the visitors center is full of information and is excellent fun.
Lost Gardens of Heligan, approx 5 miles. A victorian garden that has been hidden from the public eye for 50 years, today you can stroll around the 57 acres of planted gardens and watch the workers use the 'old' methods of gardening.
Mevagissey approx 5mile. Abeautiful working fishing port.
