Almocageme, in the Sintra area, is a small village built on a Roman site. Near the sea, it has grocery shops, coffee shops ,butcher's, restaurants and a weekly farmer's and fresh fish market.
This century-old restored house is located at the end of the village at the end of a dead-end street. From the private garden and every room of the house there is an unobstructed view of countryside and sea. In the summer, the sun sets magnificently into the sea right in front of the house and garden with its BBQ area. There is no traffic or village noise to disturb the peace.
The fully equipped kitchen with slate flooring and stone counter top is full of light ,as is the living/dining area which has patio doors leading out to the garden. The master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom , offers a more panoramic view of sea and village from the veranda.
There is central heating throughout the house as well as a fireplace in the living room. The washer, dryer and iron are in a separate laundry room. A baby’s cot and high chair are available.
The nearest beach is just a short walk away. From this beach you can follow dinosaur footprints across the cliffs to the next in a series of sandy beaches .Besides surfing and windsurfing facilities there is also horseback riding ,tennis and several outdoor pools in the area. The nearest golf course in Estoril is a 25 minute drive away.
Historic Sintra , with its many interesting sites, is a 15 minute drive away.

Located on the coast with the closest beach a short walk away. There are many beaches with surfing,windsurfing,jetski, and a sailing marina in Cascais. There are many outdoor pools and tennis courts. In Estoril there is a golf course and a casino.Sintra, a World Heritage Site, and Lisbon have many museums,palaces and castles to visit
